Fenni Zombie (China)
by Juefang Zhang
45-year-old experimental musician Fenni depends on friends to sustain a basic living condition in suburban Beijing. A politically-outcasted dreamer, Fenni fights the Chinese political restrictions to pursue her passion for music. The documentary follows Fenni as she receives an invitation to the Manifesto Music Festival in Palermo, Italy. At the festival, she is tricked into a politically controversial performance that goes horribly wrong and results in the audience leaving. Running time: 00:15:50
And we'll be happy again (Poland) by Krzysztof Wołżański
A bold, unusual and moving image of familys life told through cellphone footage. Adolescent children lose their closest person and a sense of stability, and safety after their mother's death. They keep together for better and worse, although their lives will never be the same again. The director shares the painful and intimate history of his family with the audience. Running time: 00:21:42
The Prince of Ostia Bronx (Italy)
by Raffaele Passerini
Warning: This film is designed for those people who have failed at least once in their lives. Dario, the Prince, and Maury, the Countess, are actors rejected by theatre and cinema. The gay nudist beach of Capocotta becomes their imaginary stage. Here, the Prince and the Countess are free to be the absolute protagonists of their improvised sketches, a magical and safe place, where life mixes with art and creativity becomes an antidote to an absent audience. Running time: 01:15:00
